February snowstorm: Day 1

11:03am – light snow begins to fall at BWI

Noon – Governon O'Malley declares a State of  Emergency.

2pm – UB\MICA cancel all classes\activites for weekend.

4pm – Accuweather predicts snow accumulations in central Pa of 2-4 inches. Baltimore: 16-21".

5pm – MTA suspends all bus\rail service within the city.

Sunset: 5:37pm

7pm – 1/2 inch of slush\snow accumulation outside my door.

9:15pm – 2 inches of hard packed snow\ice on walkway outside my apt.

9:45pm – Accuweather is predicting accumulations of 5-8 iches in Lehigh valley; Central Pa: 3-6"; 5-7 inches in Blacksburg, Va; Baltimore: 16-21 inches.
